The added side load created by driving most superchargers adds a great deal of stress to the harmonic damper and crank snout (pulling on the damper). A stock-dimension small block Ford harmonic damper can split in the keyways when driving a supercharger. We increase the O.D. of the harmonic damper where it passes through the oil seal, to provide a great improvement in strength for the damper and crankshaft in this highly-stressed area. Adding the 2.065" oil seal dimension to this damper is ideal to increase strength where it is needed most.
Requires Larger I.D. Oil Seal (Fits Stock Timing Cover; Options Below):
